APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

In order to be considered for participation in CCA’s Contemporary Performance Practices 2020 summer intensive, you will have to complete the following steps:

1. Submit the preliminary application by completing the free ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.

Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Within one week, you will receive a notice to inform you if you were selected as a finalist.

2. If you are selected as a finalist, we will contact you to complete the full application by submitting a VIDEO RECORDING of your brief responses to the following questions, in your own words:

a. Why are you drawn to apply to this particular performance training program?

b. Describe your artistic background and past training.

c. What are you hoping to gain from these instructors and from this experience?

d. CPP training demands a great deal of discipline and physical rigor. All students are expected to fully participate in daily training and creative activities. Do you have any health conditions or injuries that would limit your ability to participate in the workshop?

Please provide your responses in English, in a single clip, no longer than 5 minutes in length. The video does not need to be a professional recording (recording with your mobile device or laptop is fine,) but please make sure we can hear and see your responses clearly. Please send your video as a link (YouTube, Vimeo, G Drive, DropBox, etc.) Your video response does not need to be published publicly. We respect your right to privacy, therefore we are happy to accept private and password-protected links.

Under extenuating circumstances, we may be able to accept written responses in lieu of the video recording. Please contact the program administrator at cca@ccalliance.eu if you are unable to apply via video link.

3. Final submissions will be also be processed on a rolling basis, and offers of acceptance to the program will be sent via email within 7-10 days.

DEADLINES:

Early bird deadline: April 1, 2020 (Tuition cost: EUR 1,300)

Regular deadline: June 1, 2020 (Tuition cost: EUR 1,450)

We are currently acceptation submissions for the 2020 CPP program. Applications will be reviewed on rolling basis, and you will be contacted with the selectors’ decision within two weeks.

Payment structure is as follows:

_A 500 EURO deposit is required shortly upon acceptance. The receipt of the initial payment will guarantee you a spot in CPP 2020, and will be applied towards the total cost of tuition. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable.

_The remainder of your tuition (priced in accordance with the deadline schedule above) will be due within 30 days of acceptance into the program.

To make payment for your CPP tuition is possible by debit or credit card or by bank transfer.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Applications will be accepted until we fill available spots in the program, or until the final deadline of June 1, whichever comes first.

CPP is a professional training program, and we urge you to carefully consider your ability to participate before applying. We encourage you to consult the following Funding and Mobility resources and platforms that could cover your travel and stay for the CCA programs and help you achieve the objectives of your participation.
